About Us
The Friends of the Mansfield Police Department is a nonprofit organization established and maintained for the purpose of supporting the Mansfield Police Department by providing extra-budgetary support for innovative, emerging law enforcement needs; providing financial support for Law Enforcement and their families, to receive gifts, contributions, and grants of money or property from individuals, private organizations, public sources, and any agency of the City of Mansfield, State of Ohio or the United States of America and to apply and disburse those gifts, contributions, and grants for the benefit of the sworn, non-sworn, family and peers of the Mansfield Police Department by funding, assisting and undertaking programs, activities, training and/or any other expense that would promote their health, welfare and express appreciation for their efforts in the community.
